從在蘇格蘭高地山丘邊的家，格蘭多納酒廠製作最好的雪莉單一麥芽威士忌已經兩百多年了。James Allardice 在1826年創立了酒廠。格蘭多納在1960年被Willian Teacher & Sons 買下。
更在1966年的時候將酒廠的蒸餾器從兩個擴充到四個並且維持著傳統及手工的製作方法。在2008年的時候，由三位合夥人Billy Walker, Geoff Bell & Wayne Keiswetter將格蘭多納從保樂力加購入並且賦予酒廠新生命。
堅持著獨立酒廠的傳統原則，堅持做出高品質的威士忌而不是數量多的威士忌。但同時也給予更多的創造性、靈活性以及和客戶保有更親密的關係。
